Types of Hijrah and travelling to the lands of Kufr

Image
Firstly, Hijrah from land of kufr to land of islaam as the people of knowledge have said, is a must upon one who cannot establish his religious duties and practice his deen openly without being opposed, if he is able to practice his deen without being opposed then it's not a must rather recommended. If a person is from the land of Islām then it's not permissible for him to travel to the land of kufr as it constitutes a danger on his deen, his character, could be a waste of wealth, a kind of support to the economy of the land of Kufr. O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you; and know that Allâh is with those who are Al-Muttaqûn [9:123] This is when one has the ability, strenth and power.

Noble manners: 4 matters that are regarded as pillars of morals and manners

Image
The Prophet ﷺ said “ Verily, I have only been sent to perfect noble character ” or  “ righteous character. ” In islām virtuous conduct and complete good manners are encouraged. In fact when asked about the greatest of what a person may enter Jannah with, the Prophet ﷺ replied “ Having taqwa of الله and good character. ” And he ﷺ  also said “ Verily, the dearest of you to me and the closest of you to  me on the Day of Judgment will be those of you who are best  in conduct. ” So a Muslim must pay proper care, attention and have a great concern regarding this as it's the epitome of his happiness and success in dunya and Ākhirah. Islāmic mannerisms are based on four pillars. The first pillar is controlling and safeguarding the tounge, it's an essential principal for morals and manners, their foundations and strong supports are established upon it. Speech of tounge must be controlled and restricted to what is good for as long as the speech is not s...

Pleasing the people is an unattainable task!

Image
﷽ أنا والله إرضاء الناس هذه غاية لا تدرك By الله, pleasing people is an impossible task. [Muḥammad Nāṣir ʾl-Dīn al-Albānī, Silsilah al-Hudá wa ʾl-Nūr al-Jadīd 888/8] محمد ناصر الدين الألباني، سلسلة الهدى والنور ٨٨٨/٨ @ilmtest — Making the people pleased with you is an unattainable task . Today they like you, next day they hate you, today they hold you as good next day just a simple mistake may make them forget your thousands of good you've done to them, today they speak well of you and hold you dear, next day they speak ill of you and distance you. Don't tire yourself by working for this unattainable goal of pleasing the people rather seek the Pleasure of the One to Whom you and these people belong. If the people are displeased but الله is Pleased with you then that's sufficient for you and that's what will truly benefit you. You can never please the people nor will their being pleased with you will truly benefit you specially if that pleasure was gained through the Di...

Third matter: Calling to it

Image
The third matter is Calling to it- meaning calling to the prescribed way which الله Gave us through the Messenger ﷺ So the Daʿwah is  Daʿwah  to Tawḥīd and obedience which is the the task of the Messengers and their followers. [12:108] قُلۡ هَٰذِهِۦ سَبِيلِىٓ أَدۡعُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۚ عَلَىٰ بَصِيرَةٍ أَنَا۠ وَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَنِىۖ Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم): "This is my way; I invite unto Allâh (i.e. to the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me (also must invite others to Allâh i.e. to the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism with sure knowledge). If one perfects his knowledge and his action accordingly then he must convey the good to others in accordance with the objective laid down by الله to His Messengers in inviting people to Tawḥīd as there is great goodness in it for himself and for others and it's reward from الله is abundant if done with sincerity. Prophet ﷺ said addressing ʿAlī رضي الل...

Second matter: Actions upon Knowledge

Image
﷽ Acting upon the knowledge one gains The second matter mentioned by the author is action upon the knowledge. It means action upon the knowledge which one has acquired. This is in fact one of the main reasons to acquire knowledge so that the actions can be sound and correct based on proofs and evidences from the Qur'ān and the Sunnah. Actions are the manifestation of one's " Knowledge " and that's how knowledge actually benefits. So actions should follow the knowledge as per many textual proofs and also there is serious harm for those who don't act upon their knowledge and who don't correct themselves firstly- through acting upon the knowledge he has before correcting others. Action is the fruit of knowledge, actions without knowledge is resemblance to the Christians and knowledge without action resembles Jews. Fuḍayl ibn ʻIyāḍ said - The scholar continues to be ignorant until he acts according to his knowledge if he does so then he really becomes a scho...

﷽ What is this knowledge obligatory upon us to know and why did the author particularised these 3 matters? This knowledge obligatory upon us to know covers 3 matters - knowing Allāh , knowing His Prophet ﷺ and knowing Dīn Al-Islām with proofs and evidences .
